Summary from Goodreads.
I love Star Wars. I am not even going to try and hide the fact that I am biased towards it. I particularly have a love for all of the old Star Wars Legends, especially around The Old Republic era. I however, surprisingly, have not read any of the Legends material set in the Legacy era.
Legacy Volume 1 is set 130 years after the battle of Endor. A lot of important events have taken place since then (which is briefly touched on in the opening crawl), but fortunately you do not require too much knowledge to enjoy this graphic novel. We follow Cade with his crew, Darth Krayt with his Sith and a few other important side characters.
The storyline was extremely well put together. Everything flowed and went logically from one issue to the next. As I mentioned just before, while some extremely important events have occurred prior to this, you do not have had to read any other material since everything is explained to a basic level so that you are able to enjoy this story.
The art style is right up my alley. I personally love the balance of the colours and the layout of each panel and page. Nothing was too overbearing but yet the important aspects were highlighted.
I would highly recommend Legacy Volume 1 to any Star Wars fan, new or old.
