No Excuses Detox Diet can be read in two different ways. The intended way of utilising it to improve your eating habits and get rid of the bad and unnecessary toxins in your body, or the way that I have used it; to get more recipes to widen the variety of food that you have whilst having a healthy menu that tastes great.
If you are worried about the cost of eating healthy, No Excuses Detox Diet shows you how surprisingly cheap eating healthy can be. With each recipe, Gilmore provides the cost of each recipe so you know exactly how little it can actually cost.
No Excuses Detox Diet is a plant-based and gluten-free cookbook but does have the option to be soy-free, egg-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, vegan or you can add meat if you so desire. It also includes a handy guide of if the recipe if a 30 minute recipe, a 15 minute prep time, kid friendly (your children can make it with you or by themselves with supervision), freezer friendly or is a slow / pressure cooker option.
If you want to widen the variety of food that you eat whilst keeping it healthy, or if one of your New Years Resolutions is to get a healthier lifestyle then No Excuses Detox Diet is a great cookbook for you.
