This is the prequel story to the 2011 movie. I will review all 6 chapters together as they are only a few pages long each.
This prequel serves not much purpose except to set up the movie and explain how the events at the start of the movie come to be.
We find out how Bright Eyes came to be in the possession of the labs and how she gained her intelligence and used it against the humans experimenting on her. She manipulates her handlers whilst plotting against them and starts to understand humans.
If you enjoyed the movie and want a better understanding of the events at the start, then this prequel will do a fine job of expelling a lot.
