The Complete Marvel Cosmos Review

Hidden Universe Travel Guides: The Complete Marvel Cosmos: With Notes From The Guardians Of The Galaxy

By Marc Sumerak

I received a free copy of The Complete Marvel Cosmos in exchange for my honest opinion.

If you want to get to know the planets in the Marvel universe then look no further. Or maybe I should say if you want to know about Earth in the Marvel universe then look no further. About 1/3 of The Complete Marvel Cosmos is set around locations on Earth. Another 1/3 is all about Asgard and the 10 realms, with about 1/6 being about the different universes within the multiverse.

I found it interesting knowing about some of the planets and what they are like but for the most part I did not enjoy it. Most of these annotations were pointless and did not add to the overall book.

The Guardians provide useless annotations alongside the planets and their descriptions. It very seems like they copied the annotations that were used in the Star Wars Book of Sith and those guides; but a very bad version.

If you love reading the Marvel Comics, then this guide will contain most of the stuff that you may already know, but it still may be an interesting read.
