Director’s Cut
By Ted Kotcheff
I received a free copy of Director’s Cut in exchange for my honest opinion.
Starts off slow, but once you get into it Director’s Cut is a fascinating read. Director’s Cut follows Ted Kotcheff’s entire life, how he came to be a film director and producer and many other things. Kotcheff is best know for directing the movie Rambo: First Blood starring Sylvester Stallone as well as executive producing 263 episode of Law & Order: SVU.
For my first read of an autobiography, I am impressed and I am struggling as to how to review it. It was an easy and enjoyable read which I would defiantly read again.
I find it hard to rate an autobiography as I feel like I am rating the person life, which I defiantly try not to do. I would recommend Director’s Cut to film enthusiast’s and any want-to-be or up-and-coming directors or producers.
Director’s Cut contains material not suitable for younger readers.
4/5
