Superman: The Final Days Of Superman Review

Superman: The Final Days Of Superman

By Peter J. Tomasi,

I received a free copy of The Final Days Of Superman for my honest opinion.

The Final Days of Superman collects issues #51 – #52 of Superman, issues #31 – #32 of Batman / Superman, issues #28 – #29 of Superman / Wonder Woman and issues #51 – #52 of Action Comics.

The storyline was very easy to follow. Some the parts did not seem to fit into the overall story but the majority of it was very cohesive. I am still confused as to why they left it as they did with no conclusion a certain character (he looks so familiar but I have no idea who he is).

The art style was very subtle. It added a lot to the comic without taking away focus from the characters in focus. The dialogue and writing did not impact the images in any way, in fact they seemed to aid them somehow.

I would recommend The Final Days Of Superman to anyone who enjoys Superman and found the New 52 run a tad disappointing as this final volume makes up for the majority of   the New 52.
