A Closed And Common Orbit

By Becky Chambers

I received a free copy of A Closed And Common Orbit for my honest opinion.

Click here for my review of the first book in the Wayfarers series, The Long Way To A Small, Angry Planet.

Wow. Considering I did not realise that their was going to be another book after The Long Way To A Small, Angry Planet, I was blown away by how much I enjoyed A Closed And Common Orbit and how much it has added to this universe. Becky Chambers did not rush herself writing this and it certainly benefited from that.

The storyline was slow moving, like the first book, but its works in its benefit. We follow Lovelace as she has awakens in her new body after the system shutdown that occurred at the end of the previous book. It shows perfectly how some people can feel when they are in a new space and have no idea what is going on or how they should be acting.

A Closed And Common Orbit could be read as a standalone, but it will make more sense if you have read A Long Way To A Small, Angry Planet.

4/5
