Throne of Glass
By Sarah J. Mass
I felt to need to reread Throne of Glass for me to be able to continue on with the rest of the series as read it over 2 years ago! Check out my full review on Youtube here!
It was good that I decided to reread it as I have forgotten quite a lot of it!
I do not think that I have ever read a book that is anything close to this. The plot was so interesting, and I do not think that i ever got bored of what was going on.
Celaena Sardothien was such an interesting character. She lives in that moral grey area that shows that she is bad, but she still does have limits.
I liked Throne of Glass, but something kept me from falling in love with it. They story was great, all of the characters were interesting, but it just did not have that extra thing that makes you fall in love with a book.
If you enjoy YA, and are looking for a YA book that is a tad different, then chances are you will love this!

I found this book ok when I read it. Celaena is an interesting character, but for an assassin who spent a while in prison and her childhood as an assassin, it felt a bit weird that she’s so into being pretty. Some of the supporting characters are a bit flat in this book. Maybe they’ll improve in later entries, but with the rate of which I read novels and the pile I have waiting, it might be a while.

I have had the second book sitting beside my bed since I finished reading Throne Of Glass. I did read the first few chapters which showed Celaena as an assassin but I just have not picked it up again… I shall pick it up soon and let you know!
