Glass Sword
By Victoria Aveyard
Glass Sword is the second book in the Red Queen series. Click here for my review of the first book, Red Queen. Click here for my review on Youtube.
I honestly have no way to describe how much I loved Glass Sword. My mind is quite happy with how unpredictable it actually was.
Glass Sword picks off right where Red Queen left us. It was action packed the entire time, and Aveyard expanded on the world perfectly. We get to see plenty of new places and different abilities, and not to mention great fight sequences.
I can also say that Aveyard wrote Maven excellently. He was the perfect villain, i just wish that he was physically present in the story more as the adds such an interesting affect to what is going on. I safely on #TeamMaven. Sorry not sorry.
I would defiantly say that you should read the first book, Red Queen, first, but the way that Glass Sword was written, it is not entirely necessary.
5/5

I was on #TeamMaven in the first book and hoped there was a glimmer of redemption in him, but I’m not so sure now. I might be #TeamCal now!
Loved this book too, the ending and twists and turns were brilliant and I don’t doubt that Aveyard has plenty more to come!
