Fatal Alliance Review

Fatal Alliance

By Sean Williams

Reading Star Wars books is the best way to prepare for the new Star Wars movie, even though Fatal Alliance is Legend.

Fatal Alliance is the third book in The Old Republic series.

Fatal Alliance is set 3643 BBY. The Hutts hold an auction of an unknown item to both the Republic and the Empire. Both the Republic and the Empire send in official and unofficial parties, and things start to get crazy.

The actual item was an amazing concept which worked perfectly with the storyline, and still kept surprising me even at the end of the book.

There were plenty of plot twists that I did not see coming, which I always enjoy.

The only thing I do not seem to be enjoying so much about these ‘Old Republic’ books is the amount of character perspectives, as sometimes it can be hard to realise who is speaking. Also, there seemed to be too many characters, and I was constantly getting confused by who was who and which side that they were on.

I would recommend Fatal Alliance to all Star Wars fans, especially those who are interested in The Old Republic and play The Old Republic game.
